History of Royal
When Joseph H. Paulick founded Royal Design and Manufacturing
over 55 years ago, he premised Royals success on the belief that the tool room was a central element in helping manufacturer's & factories control costs and increase productivity... and that philosophy still remains true at Royal today.
Originally, Royal was a manufacturer of tool control boards and contact gauges for tool measurement and presetting. In the 1980's Royal expanded their scope to tool control management. Linked directly to computers,
Royals Variset tool management systems include complete in-plant networking, comprehensive tool location and status monitoring, along with the ability to predict tool change and
optimize tool life.
